Craig began his business career soon after graduating from University of Akron with his Bachelors Degree. Well known within New Bern’s financial community since 1978, for many years, Craig owned and managed his own company, Coastal Data Services. Deciding to put his business knowledge to work in the banking industry, he reached another pinnacle of success as regional vice president of First American Savings Bank.
After retiring from that position, Craig put his networking contacts, banking and business knowledge, and wide experience to work for his clients in his career as a real estate professional. As with all his other endeavors, Craig is never satisfied with status quo and his goal, as always, was to reach the highest levels of excellence in the real estate profession. In 1999, The New Bern Board of Realtors ® presented Craig its prestigious Presidential Achievement Award. A graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI), Craig Emmerich has served as Board Chairman of the New Bern Area Chamber of Commerce and Young Mens Christian Association. He currently sits on the board of directors of The New Bern Farmer's Market and has held Board positions with the New Bern Historical Society, Consumer Credit Counseling Service, and New Bern Rotary Club.
